Traditional Manual Healing Techniques
Traditional Bonesetting :
Relief for Muscle and Joint Pain
Bonesetting is a traditional manual technique that acts on joint, muscular and tendon blockages. Through gentle and precise mobilizations, it aims to release tension and restore proper mobility to the body.
The bonesetter is, in a way, the ancestor or predecessor of the osteopath/osteopathy and the physiotherapist/physiotherapy.
Our practice is distinguished by the absence of forced twisting or harsh manipulations.

- For whom / For which needs: Ideal for muscle stiffness, “wrong moves,” joint pain (back, neck, shoulders, etc.), mild sprains, and posture issues. Suitable for both humans and animals.
- How a session works: The session takes place in person. Hands are used to assess areas of tension and apply targeted movements to release blockages, always respecting the limits of the body.
- Expected benefits: Relieves physical pain, improves flexibility and mobility, relaxes muscles, and helps regain greater ease and comfort in the body.
- Note on the technique: The mobilizations are gentle and precise, without the use of twists or high-amplitude manipulations. It is a gentle method that works in depth to reach even long-standing blockages. A slight sound may occasionally occur when a joint is released; this is a consequence of the relaxation and not an objective. Priority is always given to respecting the comfort threshold and to a gentle approach.
